What a great turnout we have had for challenge 1 at Ditzy-Craftymess challenge blog, well done everyone.

This is what I have created using 3 of Robyn's digi stamps

To make this card I put the images into my craft studio and created a winter scene then coloured them in with promarkers, I have to say that these 3 stamps work really well together.

First challenge for the Ditzy-Craftymess blog

So on we go, here is my project for this fortnight

I made this at my local monthly craft club, we had to make a card with an acetate dome on it. I used an image from Kanban mounted on some paper and card from my mum then wrapped the acetate over the image and secured at the back with DST. I then folded the right hand side up to the edge of the image to create the flap, I then used various offcuts of paper for the backing and used a Kanban stamp on the front.

I made a few of these bag charms for my daughters teachers for christmas. I had a collection of beads from hobbycraft and some clasps. I also made some christmas keyrings for the girls at nursery but I forgot to take piccies of them.

This is my first post it note easel card that I made for the Fee J Designs RAK club. I used the docrafts digital designer tatty teddy cd rom and just did it A6 size, I am quite pleased with it really.

First Christmas card of 2011

This is the first christmas card I have made this year, I think i'd better get a move on in making some more. I made this for the show and tell at my stamp club. The theme was chrismas in black and white and there was some stunning cards that people had made.
I have glittered his beard but the photo doesn't show it very well.

Oh! the snowflake is one of the Marianne design sets of dies layered on top of each other and the joy is cut with the slice elite.

I just love the whole goth thing, music, vampires and colours. If I had dark or black hair I would of loved to have it like this.

For this atc I made a mini easel. I used images from my craft studio and I brayered the purple background and added some purple gems.

Hiya, it's now time for challenge no.8 over on the ATC Challenge blog and the theme this week is wings or you could choose anything goes, but sticking with the theme gives you an extra chance or winning. Here is my ATC.

For this ATC I used manga fairy stamp and coloured her in with promarkers, glittereed her up and used papermania paper to sit her on. I am still trying to get used to colouring hair with my promarkers.

I was running a little late with this one as I have been making my guinea pigs a new home, as I was running late I decided to make a digi atc with serif craft artist, it was a task to find a door or window but there is one in the bird house.

For this I have used a stamp set from My Minds Eye called Madison avenue pretty stamps, I stamped with distress inks milled lavender and dusty concord.

Hiya I was chuffed with my first attempt at a tag for the crazicards tag swap on facebook. I used a inkadinkado stamp set and see d's morsals for the background and to colour it it I used distress inks

Here is a card I have made for the Fee J designs RAK club, I couldn't think of what to do for a wild west theme at first then I thought I would google wild west images and found these. I used walnut stain distress ink on the edges then distressed it with my new distrezz it all tool :0)

Hiya, I have joined the facebook Australian atc swap again (wish I was there lol). The theme this month is Care bears. There isn't much about care bears here in the UK anymore, I still have two teddies from when I was younger, my 2 yr old daughter plays with them now :0). I googled care bear images and I got the bears to make these.

I made the care bear backgrounds with my master card builder and glittered round the edges.

7 of these are for the swap and 2 are spare, I couldn't decide which 7 to send so I got my mum to pick 2 numbers between 1 and 9 and I kept those lol.

My other daughter will be gutter cos she wanted the pink one and thats gone.

The theme was rainbows, I got the background from my craft studio and I used Oscar a digi stamp from the digi stamp boutique, you can find him here and coloured him with promarkers, I also used the Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

This is the card I made for my mums birthday, I wasn't sure about the brown at first but thought it goes really well. I use a small Ellie the elephant stamp made by stamposaurus and coloured with copics.

I have ordered her the new set of promarkers for her birthday, hopefully they will arrive tomorrow. I should have took a pic of the card that my 4 yr old daughter made, it was cute.

I really need to make more cards instead of messing about on the computer.

Well my eldest daughter started school full time yesterday, I think she had a good day, I couldn't pick her up from school cos' I work Mon -Thu so I have to get a child minder to pick her up, and when I eventually saw her I think she was tired and didn't tell me how her day went. My hubby took the day off today to take her to school and I am off today so maybe I will get some sense out of her at 3pm.

Oh my dear Seren will you stop screaming, has anyone got any tips on a recently clingy 1 yr old that screams and cries the house down as soon as you put her down, its driving us all BONKERS. I can't even go to the loo in peace, I will have to get a rucksack and put her in it on my back, lol.

This is my first attempt at scrapbooking, I did this about 4 years ago after the birth of my first daughter.

This is my second attempt at scrapbooking with my second daughter born June 2008, I did this at my first crop, still needs a bit of journaling to go on it.

I did this one today at the crop I went to. I had a challenge to make something using chipboard shapes so I made this. I think I am getting the hang of it now. I really enjoyed making this.

Well I haven't posted for a while as the whole family have been ill with one thing or another, If we haven't got a cold we have been being sick and the poor baby has been ill for over a month, I hope we are all over it now. I need to get back into making cards as I seem to have lost my mojo a bit, Not lost it for buying stuff though.
I am off to my first crop on Saturday with my mum so that should be fun a whole day to myself to play (wahay).
On the diet side only lost 4 lb's as when I have a cold all I want to do is eat rubbish, only been to the gym once cos' of being ill, I will go Friday, can't go Sat as it closes at 4pm.
Well I am going to finish my mum's late Mothers day card, It's late cos' they have just got back from New Zealand.

What a fortnight!

Well I started back at work two weeks ago after maternity leave and I haven't had time to do a thing. Two days after my little ones went to nursery they got ill, then me and Dave to something so my diet, What diet? went to pot. I haven't even made a card. I have been soooo busy.
Anyway I managed to get to the gym today for an hour and I am going to try to stick to eating 1400 cal a day, 1200 isn' t enough and was putting me off a bit. Need to make some cards now then get everything sorted for tomorrow, bags, bottles, spare clothes, nappies..............................

I have decided to create a blog, I'm not sure what to put in it yet, I will just see what happens. I do need to lose a few pounds so I will post my losses on here to give me a kick up the bum, fingers crossed there will be no gains.
I need to finish a scrapbook of my eldest daughter and start one for my baby so will add pics on here as and when they are done, must do my wedding one too. I will be busy.
I go back to work on Monday after 9 Months off on Maternity leave, I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not, I will miss my girls and even less time to craft.
That's it for now will start my healthy eating plan properly tomorrow (really I will).
